Datuk Wong is the Group Deputy Chairman of GD Holdings and Managing Director of The Origin Foods Sdn Bhd (“TOF”).He leads the Group in all matters pertaining to government or authority matters, product feasibility studies, domestic and international trade which include exploring new overseas markets, expanding current markets and overseeing the development of marketing plans and strategies. He is the key person in Manufacturing and Biotech Division as well as leading the product research and development and Technical Advisory Board. He takes charge of the Corporate Finance of the Group. He implements and setting up the system of internal control, project cash flow management, liaise with bankers for end-financing for the purchasers, legal matters on land acquisition and join-venture development and corporate exercise for merger and acquisition.
He is the Deputy Treasurer of Malaysia Guangxi Chamber of Commerce (“MGCC”) for year 2020 to 2023 and Treasurer of Selangor Kuala Lumpur The Guangxi Association for year 2019 to 2022.
Datuk Wong graduated as Management Accountant by Profession. He was admitted as Chartered Accountant of Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA) and Associate Accountant of The Chartered Management Accountant of United Kingdom, ACMA (UK) in 1996. In 2013, He was admitted as Chartered Global Management Accountant of United Kingdom, CGMA (UK).
